Summary note
Historical and biographical film about Nikolai Bukharin (1888-1938). The authors of the historical drama reveal a little-known page in history - the "false" trial of Nikolai Bukharin during the Great Purge. According to archival documents, it was at this show trial that Bukharin decided to completely change course and, instead of the confession imposed on him, began to tell the truth. However, this attempt was doomed... Simultaneously with the footage of the process, the life of Nikolai Bukharin passes before us - a life that turned into a tragedy.
