    Summary note
The book 'Rosa' presents the work of Austrian artist Alfredo Barsuglia (born 1980) in the last ten years. The first monographic publication by Barsuglia is not a work catalog in the classic sense, but a book featuring a balanced proportion of illustrations and texts. While the various work groups, project documentations and solo works are described in texts by various authors, which do not refer solely to the artistic aspect but also the respective underlying topics (such as economics, ecology, sociology, medicine), a pink-colored headline text runs through the entire book and guides the reader from one picture and text passage to the next like passengers of a cruise ship hopping from one island to another, from one harbor to the next.
