Summary note

This volume presents pottery and its contexts from sites in Ostia and the Ager Portuensis, focusing on the study of pottery found in contexts of the Roman republic, both from old and from new excavations of the territory. Artifacts and contexts are examined with a multidisciplinary approach, based on a combined interpretation of typological, epigraphical, and archaeometric data.
