    Summary note
The almost forty works that make up the current exhibition - accompanied by an exhaustive catalog by Carlo Cambi Editore - do not pretend to follow the whole evolution of Accardi's painting step by step: they underline some fundamental passages, starting from the mid-1950s conjuncture, when Carla Accardi, timely close to the art of Michel Tapié, shared with the critic and a handful of European artists that propensity to enclose in a poor and neglected the truth of the image, thus aligning its research to the most propositive ways International. A search on the sign - that will grow in time, allowing a more full and clamorous color to settle inside it, together with the oriental and the matissian - that will accompany it, through always new syntactic cramps, until the end.--Gallery website.
