    Summary note
From 25 June 2017 to 7 January 2018 , the Museum of Art and Archeology in Valence offers an exhibition devoted to the Ardèche artist Jean Le Moal. This will reveal through a selection of paintings and works on paper - many unpublished - the unknown aspects of one of the leading figures of French painting from the second half of the twentieth century of which it is time to reconsider the place. Through a large collection of oils, drawings, watercolors, sculptures and models for orders of stained-glass windows or theatrical sets, the chosen route will favor the discovery of an important work, First time allowed to grasp in the whole of its development, manifesting all at once the singularity of a painter dedicated to color, to the question of space and variations of light.
