Summary note
This book, designed by Thomas Scheibitz, describes the artist's collaboration and interaction with sculptures by his father Frank Scheibitz. Around 15 pieces were made between 2000 and 2015, of which 10 sculptures and their "settings" are described here in great detail. In this the artist, who works as a painter and sculptor in Berlin, depends on his father's technical capabilities as a wood carver and master stonemason for the realization of his own ideas. Examples from his father's conceptual world are presented alongside those of the artist Thomas Scheibitz in an appendix to this book.
