    Summary note
= "Another journey in the form of dialogue, this time in ancient Greece; still a short and fast sounding, accomplished, one might say, running, but, through a close comparison with the sources, the most respectful of the story. In this journey the events of Hellas are revisited in its essential moments, the most emblematic material and imaginative topoi, along an extended and differentiated horizon which, from the epicenter of the Greek mainland, ended with the entire Mediterranean region and some areas of Asia Minor. The material and cultural contagions that were most prominent in the formation of the Greek world are underlined, researching its effects in the arts, in the letters and, in a broad sense, in the imaginary, which introduces into the polychrome settings of the myth, of which some elements are plumbed foundations, linked to the natural cycles and the fertility of the earth. It therefore stops in the Greek imaginary of the West, animated by strong dualistic tensions that tend to merge into the paradox light and dark" --Page 4 of cover.
