Title and subtitle from cover of instruction booklet; title proper only on game board and slipcase box.
Undated; Taylor at Graystoke Place address from 1854 onwards (cf. Brown, London pubs., p. 198); 1849 is the latest date mentioned in instruction booklet, presumably issued with the game, for of the purchase of Banks's Peninsula (p. 17).
Game board is a folded sheet, printed on one side only, with 9 separate panels mounted on a cloth backing, folded for storage in a slipcase, which is open at the top; two small, textured colored-paper tabs are on reverse side of two game panels to aid in pulling game from box.
Instruction booklet includes background information and colonial history of each of the 37destinations on the "tour."

Illustrations: Colored stipple engravings on game board, including vignettes of the 37 game locations (from Heligoland to the Channel Islands to London) arranged in a circular pattern, and 6 additional scenes at top and bottom of board, including Britannia shown with the British lion and Neptune; lower right corner of playing board ill. signed with a decorative "JB" script monogram.
