Biographical/​Historical note:
Richardson Auditorium (formerly known as Alexander Hall) is Princeton University's premiere performance venue for a wide variety of events including concerts, plays, lectures, and dance performances. Originally constructed in 1894, Richardson Auditorium was renovated as an 891-seat concert hall in the mid-1980s and renamed for the primary benefactor of that project. Today it stands as one of the most recognizable structures on Princeton campus, and is known worldwide for its remarkable acoustics and design.
