Biographical/​Historical note:
The sprint football program at Princeton (sometimes known as lightweight football) has operated since 1933. Designed for smaller players, sprint football is identical to NCAA football in every way with the exception of a weight cap of 165 pounds on players. Princeton is one of five colleges that participate in the Collegiate Sprint Football League.
Summary note:
The collection consists of 196 videotapes (VHS format) of Sprint Football games and one video transfer of a 1947 varsity football game film. Each tape is labeled with the date of the game, the opponent, and in some instances the final score.
