Summary note
Anthology on the number 10, comprising an introduction, ten chapters (bāb) and a khātimah (see description of contents in preamble, fol. 2b-3b). This copy lacks the beginning of the text. According to a note on fol. 84b, it was collated by the author's father.

Title from preamble of text (fol. 3b, l. 10).
Physical description: 19 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with use of red? (fading to dark grey). The text is partially vocalized; final yāʼ dotted. Contains a chart with direction of the qiblah for al-Shām (fol. 75b, in black ink). European paper with watermark; glossy. Quinions; catchword on the verso of each leaf. According to catchword, quire structure, and the foliation in Arabic numerals, lacuna after fol. 28 and after fol. 66. Stained with water.
Inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Raqm 11 al-Mawṣil".
Origin: According to colophon, copied in Istanbul, 19 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 946 [Aug. 4, 1539] (fol. 84b). Collated by Ibrāhīm ibn Yūsuf al-Tādhifī, the author's father (note on the right margin of the colophon).
