    Notes
    • Cotsen's collection of textile material, mostly consisting of children's handkerchiefs from the 18th to the 20th century. Collection also includes samples of children's clothing, blankets, quilts, samplers, cloth bookmarks, toys, dolls, double-ender dolls, and other commercial textile material relating to children's literature, artists, or child's clothing.
    • Box 1 contains all small handkerchiefs; box 2 contains 3 separate sections: misc. small textiles, samplers, and large handkerchiefs; boxes 3-6 contain a collection of double-ender dolls of fairy tale characters; box 7 contains various plush toys and a small hand bag; box 8 contains a sarong and wallchart; boxes 9-11 contain various large format textiles, blankets, clothing, and extra large handkerchiefs; box 12 contains a quilt made out of 9 handkerchiefs; box 13 contains a needlepoint on canvas of Alice's adventures in Wonderland.
