    Benjamin Bower Le Tall was a science teacher and a member of the Society of Friends. He undertook his grand tour after completing his studies in 1882. Upon his return, he tought at various boys' schools.
    Summary note
    2 volumes describing Benjamin Le Tall's grand tour. The two volumes appear to be the first and last of four diaries. The first describes Le Tall's departure from London and his travels to Italy, Greece, and Egypt (January 8, 1883-March 9, 1883). The second volume takes up the narrative in the Aegean and describes Le Tall's travels to Constantinople and back to England (April 29, 1883-May 31, 1883). Pasted and stapled into the volumes are various notes and ephemera.
