"It drizzles in the back-alley of Hong Kong's vibrant night scene. Chang-in receives critical information from an anynymous man. Not long after, he stares at a typical twy-story town house in the suburbs of Korea. He can't believe there is a piece of antique china worth a forturn from Ming Dynasty in that town house. He is a fake novelist, who was once a college professor and now smuggles cultural properties. He lays a few schemes to get hold of the china and carries one out successfully -- entering the house where ge gets to live with two eccentric women. Yeon-ju, contray to her breathtaking beauty, is a young widow who curses a lot. She interferes with Chang-in's schemes with or without intention. Her daugher Sung-ah is a child actor who has rather become hideous as she grew up and demands plastic surgery. She and her neighbors become suspicious of the new neighbor/write Chan-in, who plays tricks on two women, in an effort to find the treasure, to no avail. As time passes by, he feels more pressured by those whio need to buy the china from him desperately. The treasure hunt becomes more a complicated and puzzling journey than imagined."--Korean Movie Database (KMDb).
