    Summary note
With this exhibition Galería Gabriela Mistral reopens with new address and format. Transformed into a contemporary art room, run now by gallerist Florencia Loewenthal. One of the main changes is the introduction of a novel selection methodology for future exhibitions. The exhibitions will be curated by international guest curators that will select artists (individual or collective) based on a presentation of a portfolio of their art production, instead of a specific exhibition project. The inaugural exhibition was curated by Rodrigo Alonso (Argentina), who after interviewing more than 20 artists selected Camila Ramírez, Raimundo Edwards and Andrés Vial. All three have developed different lines of work, although at a certain point complementary: "they take their own civilization and make remains of it. They are suburban, demographic, ethnic and ideological vestiges that unfold throughout the exhibition space"--P [2]
