    Facsimile of a historiated and hand-illustrated incunable of Dante's Divina Commedia, originally printed in Venice 18 November 1491 by Pietro Piasi Cremonese, with the commentary of Cristoforo Landino as revised by Piero da Figino. The original contains over 400 hand-colored illustrations and is housed at Casa di Dante in Rome.

    • The 23-page commentary ("Commentario essenziale") is provisional and is only intended to provide reference information for users of the facsimile. A fuller commentary volume, edited by Luca Marcozzi, is expected to be issued by autumn 2015.
    • Limited edition of 499 copies numbered 1-499; 49 copies not for sale numbered I-XLIX also printed.
    • The hand-colored illustrations in the Casa di Dante copy of the original incunable have been attributed to Antonio Grifo. See provisional commentary.
    • A selection of Dante's "canzoni" follows the "Commedia" text.
