    Summary note
    Recounts the story of Juozas Luksa, author of the "Forest Brothers", who joined the resistance to the Soviet occupation of Lithuania in 1944. He escaped to Paris in 1948 to spread the word of the partisan struggle and married Nijole. A short time later he rejoined the partisans in Lithuania with the backing of the CIA. Features the writings of Luksa.
