Complements the facsimile edition of the 1577 manuscript: Trismosin, Salomon. Splendor solis. Valencia, Spain : Patrimonio Ediciones, [2009].
    Notes
    • A commentary on Splendor solis, a 16th-century alchemical work in seven parts, particularly on the 1577 manuscript version of it that was originally produced in southern Germany and is currently housed in the Bibliothèque nationale de France under the shelfmark Allemand 113. Traditionally attributed to alchemist Salomon Trismosin, the attribution of this work -- and the existence of Salomon Trismosin -- have been questioned by some modern scholars; an alternative attribution to Ulrich Poysel has been proposed.
    • The subtitles in Italian, English, and German appear on added title pages.
    • "Depósito legal: V-1615-2009."--Title page verso.
